Self-Portrait x Dumplings’ Legend
On 18 February 2024, Self-portrait’s Founder and Creative Director Han Chong and CEO of The British Fashion Council Caroline Rush CBE, hosted an evening honouring Lunar New Year and creativity in British Fashion.Celebrating the importance of unity, community and shared rituals, the event held at the iconic restaurant Dumplings’ Legends in Chinatown, paid homage to the annual tradition of welcoming in a prosperous new year ahead, coinciding with London Fashion Week.
We transformed the ground floor of our restaurant into a private party area with a live DJ, acoustic reacted mood lighting and a karaoke area for self-portrait’s party.
Served 10 different dishes to 250 customers for the whole night with free flow champagne.
Incorporated a Lunar New Year theme for self-portrait to celebrate the Year of the Dragon.
Live Xiao-Long-Bao soup dumplings making and freshly made dim sum steamed for guests to enjoy.
